May 6-7, 2026
Join your colleagues from around the country at the AADOCR/ADEA/FNIDCR Advocacy Day on May 6-7, 2026 in Washington, D.C. – the premier event for oral health researchers and scientists, dental school faculty and students, and patient advocates to communicate the importance of oral health research and education to policymakers.
The annual event, hosted by the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR), the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and the Friends of NIDCR, raises the visibility of oral health to policymakers and promotes federal investment in NIH/NIDCR research, dental education and training programs.
Participants will receive in-depth training on the role federal health and science agencies play in advancing oral health, and strategies for successful meetings with policymakers. Hear from senior Administration officials about the latest research initiatives at NIDCR and oral health training and residency programs administered by HRSA. The event will culminate with group meetings on Capitol Hill with participants’ own elected officials and/or their staff.
There is a flat $30 registration fee to help subsidize the cost of the event, including logistical fees, materials, and a continental breakfast. The deadline to register is March 31, 2026.
