Reasons for Running

With my two years of experience serving on NSRG's board as Councilor, I'm confident that I can positively contribute to NSRG's mission of fostering an environment whereby students are encouraged to enrich their dental education through research. During my time on the board, I gained invaluable experience working with other leaders to organize research competitions, plan speakers/events, and promote outreach. I played an active role in implementing new ideas to reach clinician scientists from around the country.

I'm proud of the progress we made as a team and hope to utilize my experiences to improve operations. One way I plan to achieve this is by alleviating the team's duties of managing regional representatives. By taking on this responsibility, I aim to reduce the workload of other teammates. I have seen the importance of this role in ensuring effective communication between the organization's national and local leadership to ensure that all members feel heard and valued. However, I also recognize that managing can be a time-consuming task. If elected, I plan to work closely with the regional representatives to establish clear communication channels and provide them with the necessary support to carry out their responsibilities effectively. By doing so, I believe we can create a more efficient and effective system that benefits the organization as a whole. I am confident that my experience and dedication make me the ideal candidate for this position, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve NSRG in this capacity.
