An Initiative of the AADOCR Mentoring an Inclusive Network for a Diverse Workforce of the Future (AADOCR MIND the Future)
Goals:
- Assess the current state of dental, oral, and craniofacial (DOC) research in the United States.
- Assess where and how that research is currently being conducted, including supporting an inclusive scientific environment.
- Determine how to address the challenges and barriers identified.
- Develop an Action Agenda with specific recommendations to assist funders of DOC research and for institutions and investigators to improve DOC research as well as supporting and promoting a diverse cadre of DOC investigators.

Associate Deans for Research at Academic Dental Institutions (ADI), ADI Deans, Management and Advisory Committees of AADOCR MIND the Future, VP of Research (or persons with that responsibility) at non-ADI Institutions conducting DOC research, and All Funders of DOC research (Government (primarily NIDCR, but others too), Non-profits, Foundations, Dental Insurance, Consumer and Professional Products Industry and Emerging Technologies)
