Alexandria, Va., USA, May 6, 2020 – The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) announced the 2020 recipients of the IADR Innovation in Oral Care Awards. Each of the winners will receive $50,000, which is funded by an unrestricted grant from GlaxoSmithKline and administered by IADR.
The recipients are:

“On Demand Anticariogenic Activity of 3D Printed Composite Discs Infused with Gold Doped Titanium Oxide Nanofibers (Au-TiO2 NFs)” Co-Investigators: Roberto Savignano, Christopher Perry.
In its 17th year of award support, GlaxoSmithKline has contributed more than $3 million to the IADR Innovation in Oral Care Awards program. IADR administers and awards the grants through a rigorous peer-review process, which was chaired this year by Marcello Riggio.
Due to the cancellation of the 2020 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session, the awards were given locally.
