Engage in AADOCR leadership by volunteering to serve on a committee. Committee service plays a critical role in the governance and success of the Association.

Why Serve on a Committee?

Each year, AADOCR seeks a diverse group of volunteers to fill committee vacancies, representing a broad range of regions and scientific disciplines. Committee service offers an opportunity to contribute to the Association’s mission while collaborating with colleagues across the American oral health research community.

Terms of Service

• Committee Members: Three-year term (unless otherwise noted)
• Committee Chairs: One-year term, selected from current committee members (typically in their final year of service)

New terms of service will begin at the conclusion of the 2027 IADR/AADOCR/CADR Annual Meeting & Exhibition, held March 17–20, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Eligibility and How to Apply

• You must be a current AADOCR member to submit a nomination.
• Applications must be submitted through the members portal of the IADR website using your username and password.

Self-nominations are encouraged.

Required Materials

All candidates must submit a brief biosketch (maximum 500 characters) describing their involvement with IADR/AADOCR and/or contributions to oral health research in support of their candidacy.
