AADOCR Announces Winners of the 2022 Student Competition for Advancing Dental Research and its Application (SCADA)

Alexandria, VA – The American Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2022 Student Competition for Advancing Dental Research and its Application (SCADA). The winners were recognized during the Opening Ceremonies of the hybrid 51st Annual Meeting of the AADOCR, held in conjunction with the 46th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research (CADR), on March 23, 2022.

Dentsply Sirona and the AADOCR joined forces to co-sponsor SCADA, which empowers the next generation of dental leaders by showcasing students’ research and recognizing their passion for discovery and innovation to fuel the future of dental care. Every U.S. dental school was invited to select a student to participate in the 2022 SCADA event, which took place on March 16 and 17, 2022. 

Three winners are identified for each Category (Clinical Science/Public Health Research) and (Basic and Translational Science Research) and will receive either:
•    1st – Monetary award of $1,000
•    2nd – Monetary award of $750
•    3rd – Monetary award of $500
