IADR Announces Saima Yunus Khan as 2020 Recipient of the John J. Clarkson Fellowship

Alexandria, Va., USA, May 6, 2020 – The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) announced that Saima Yunus Khan, Associate Professor, Aligarh Muslim University, India is the 2020 recipient of the John J. Clarkson Fellowship.

Khan is a university topper with 10 University Gold Medals, a three-time recipient of prestigious scholarships and has earned Best State Student Award in India and Certificates of Merit for securing highest marks in dental subjects from National Academic Bodies. She was recently awarded with the Prestigious International College of Dentist Fellowship in 2018 from the Southeast Asia region.

The purpose of the IADR John Clarkson Fellowship is to allow investigators to obtain training and experience in dental public health at a center of excellence. The Fellow will receive funding for accommodation, subsistence, and travel (up to $15,000) following approval.

Due to the cancellation of the 2020 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session, the award was given locally.
