Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill
Join the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR), the Friends of NIDCR, and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) for the 2024 Advocacy Day on April 10-11 in Washington, D.C.!
Together we will raise the visibility of oral health, champion NIDCR-funded research, and promote investment in dental education and training programs.
The dental, oral, and craniofacial research community must stand together and communicate to policymakers the vital need for federal investment in dental research and oral health programs. The three premier national organizations that champion these priorities are joining together in 2024 to tell Congress that NIH, NIDCR, and HRSA dental training programs must be adequately funded.
The event will include a legislative briefing featuring distinguished speakers from the Administration and Congress, a training program on the federal appropriations process and our legislative asks, and a full day of group meetings on Capitol Hill with targeted congressional offices, including participants’ own elected officials.
