The American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) is the leading professional community for multidisciplinary scientists who advance dental, oral, and craniofacial research. Previously the American Association for Dental Research, the 3,000-member organization connects the scientific community of professionals who champion research that contributes to overall health and well-being.

Whether you are a researcher, student or other individual interested in dental, oral and craniofacial research, the IADR/AADOCR welcomes you as a member.

All AADOCR membership dues amounts are inclusive of IADR dues. Starting in 2015, IADR Member and Retired Member dues include membership in one IADR Scientific Group/Network. IADR student members must join at least one Group/Network, and may join up to a total of three Groups/Networks at no charge. IADR Affiliate Members are not eligible to join Groups/Networks. IADR/AADOCR Retired membership is available to individuals who have 25 years of consecutive membership in the Associations and are no longer working full time for remuneration.

Some AADOCR Sections may also charge dues, please refer to the membership application (available at www.iadr.org/membership) for more information.

You may join online, or if you prefer to pay by check, print the form at https://www.aadocr.org/aadocr-membership and send it with payment via fax or mail. Upon receipt and processing of your application, the IADR will send an email receipt and welcome message. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing and delivery.

IADR/AADOCR membership follows a calendar year period. All memberships expire on December 31 of the current calendar year.

The 2025 AADOCR/CADR Annual Meeting will be held in New York, NY, USA, on March 12-15, 2025. Present your cutting-edge research and view top-notch scientific programming, including poster presentations, oral presentations, symposia, and Distinguished Lecture Series plenary sessions. The Journal of Dental Research (JDR) is the flagship journal of the IADR and the American Association for Dental Research (AADOCR), the largest Division of the IADR. To subscribe please indicate on your membership renewal notice or new member application or contact the IADR for an invoice.

JDR Clinical & Translational Research in the newest journal designed for IADR members and other oral health research leaders to publish their research and effectively translate their findings to those who need the information to deliver evidence-based prevention and care. IADR members receive online access with membership. Print copies of the journal may be purchased in addition to online access by selecting during the membership renewal process or contacting IADR.

AADOCR follows IADR's membership and publications refund policy is listed below and online at www.iadr.org/membershiprefund.

Refunds due to an error by the IADR/AADOCR will be processed immediately and in full. A $20 processing fee will be withheld from all other refunds. Overpayment of $30 or less will be treated as a contribution and will not be refunded. Refunds will normally be sent in the same manner as the original payment (i.e., checks will be issued for payments by check, and credit cards will be credited for payments by credit card). If a wire transfer is requested, IADR/AADOCR will pass on all wire transfer fees to the recipient. Please allow 6-8 weeks for your refund to be processed. IADR does not offer refunds for canceled memberships, according to the IADR Constitution & Bylaws.

Members will see the ID number by logging in to the IADR/AADOCR Member Portal. Members may also download and print member ID cards to get ID number information. If you have lost your ID number, please contact IADR.

Your password can be sent to you automatically if the Global Headquarters has your email address on file. Please go to use the login button in the top of the website and use the forgot password link to request your password. Your user name or email is required for your request to be processed.

You will need to log into the Members Only area to change your password. Then select Edit My Profile and follow on-screen instructions.
